Henry Flagler Suite
Named for the notable industrialist and railroad pioneer, Henry Flagler who built the Overseas Railroad connecting mainland Florida to Key West through the island chain of the Florida Keys. The railroad was destroyed by the Hurricane of 1935. Actual rails from the tracks were used in the original construction of the Inn and are visible in this suite adding to the Suite's charm and history. The suite is located directly on the beach, this ground floor room is part of the original Key Haven lodge building. The suite offers a large covered private patio with 2 comfortable Adirondack chairs, a table with 4 chairs and has spectacular views of the Florida Bay through lush tropical landscaping with direct access to the beach. The living area has a queen sleeper sofa, large flat-screen TV, kitchen with a stovetop, mini-refrigerator, microwave, Keurig, dining area with table and 4 chairs, is accented with glass French doors to the patio inviting the tropical light and scenery into the suite. The separate bedroom has a queen bed and an additional large flat-screen TV. The bathroom with shower can be accessed by the bedroom and living area. Traveling with a group? The Henry Flagler Suite can be adjoined with the Cocoplum Deluxe Garden View Room adding one bedroom and one bathroom to create the perfect custom set up for your next Florida Keys getaway.
