Our newly renovated heated pool is ideally situated in the middle of the property. Elevated slightly over the beach it allows guests to enjoy unobstructed views of the beach and bay, great for wild life viewing, sunset appreciation and stargazing.
The Coconut Palm Inn's location on a protected bayside harbor makes for an ideal marina setting. Two long docks make up the 14-slip marina. Modern hookups for water and electric and WIFI are available at all slips. The fish cleaning station is located on north dock.
We offer complimentary single & double kayaks for your adventure. Kayaking from our beach is one of the most popular activities at the Inn. Some of the favorite routes are along the bayside coastline, the shallow waters of the Florida bay or just across the protected harbor, you can explore pristine mangrove islands with hidden creeks and channels. You are guaranteed to experience the unique splendor of the Florida Keys. The lagoon is a playground for dolphin, manatee, and many migrating birds unique to the Florida Keys.
The western side of the Florida Keys is one of the best places in the world to Stand Up Paddleboard. Our protected harbor enjoys easy walkout access for guests to launch their adventure. For the experienced paddleboarder there are no limits. For the guest that wants to learn a new sport, the shallow protected water provides a carefree experience. Paddleboards and paddles are complimentary.
Catch the true feeling of the Florida Keys the best way we know how! Looking up into the Palm trees from the gentle sway of a hammock. The only thing more comfortable than our beds is the collection of hammocks that dot our private beach.
Our entire beachfront area, all 450 feet, is dotted with comfortable Adirondacks and lounge chairs with umbrellas for guests to enjoy sunbathing, reading a great book or just relaxing in the shade of the umbrella and swaying palm trees.
Memories are made on the beach, under the swaying palms and behind the grill. Charcoal BBQ grills can be found along the beach and garden area. What better place to enjoy your meal than bayside at one of the many tables and tikis dotting our beachfront property or even enjoy your culinary creation on your private deck.
Our two large tikis are perfect for serving food and beverages or having live music during wedding receptions or your special event. They can also be used just to relax in the comfortable seating area to enjoy the day and watch our beautiful sunsets.
Enjoy the natural beauty of the Florida Keys by trading 4 wheels for 2. It is a great way to get around and explore. Tavernier is home to many historic structures, unique flora and fauna and wildlife. We have complimentary single rider and tandem bikes for our guests to use.
