Did you know the Florida Keys is as rich in the performing arts as it is in incredible scenery and wildlife? The Florida Keys Concert Association hosts many events of the year just 2.5 miles from our Beachfront Hideaway. The February 18th event is focused on Rising Star Concert – Stella Chen, violinist and George Li, pianist The concert begins at 7:30 and is held at Cape Coral High School in Tavernier.
"Each year we try to bring you a future star of the classical music world. This year we are up for a real teat because the concert features winners of the most highly regarded competitions in the world for their respective instruments. Stella Chen won first prize at the Queen Elizabeth competition and George Li won the Silver Medal at the International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition." -
