Herb Alley Suite
King Bay View
Historic Suite Inspired by the Inn's Original Visionary
Named after Coconut Palm Inn's original owner, Herb Alley — a pioneer, environmentalist, and early advocate for the creation of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park — this 450 sq ft ground-floor suite is directly on the beachfront overlooking the Florida Bay, located in the inn's original building known today as the beach house. Historic details remain throughout the building, including exposed beams crafted from rails of Henry Flagler's Overseas Railroad, adding a unique touch of Keys history.
The suite offers a spacious separate bedroom with a pillow-top King bed, flat-screen TV, desk area, and private ensuite featuring a separate dressing and vanity area. The living area includes comfortable seating, a queen sleeper sofa, large flat-screen TV, dining table for two, mini-refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig.
French doors open to a private 200 sq ft covered patio with Adirondack chairs and outdoor dining. From here, guests can relax among tropical gardens while enjoying views of the Florida Bay and unforgettable sunsets of Key Largo & Islamorada.
